Choosing caregiver support

Time to Care vs free Facebook caregiver groups

Why pay when support groups are free? You shouldn't pay just to have somewhere to post. The question is whether you need facilitated conversations and a structure you can return to.

What a free group can offer

A Facebook caregiver group can be a useful place to meet people who understand and exchange experiences without a membership charge. Moderation, rules, and the quality of advice vary by group. Read the rules of the specific group rather than assuming every free group works the same way.

What Time to Care adds

Membership includes Care Talks led by a moderator, a guidance library organized by caregiving stage, Journey to Self-Care and The Care Lab, and a member space between sessions. It brings guided programs and peer support together rather than relying only on an ongoing feed.

Price and a free place to start

Standard membership is $125 per month. The first 10 founding members can use FOUNDER for $60 per month while membership stays active. If paid support isn't right for you now, start with the free boundary quiz or caregiver guide. Check the final price before paying.

Privacy is not a guarantee of confidentiality

Read the rules and platform privacy terms for either option. Time to Care members must not share others' contributions without permission, but the community is not a confidential clinical setting and cannot guarantee every participant's behavior.
